As, Asha series is gaining due appreciation from the users and getting profits, so Nokia has decided to launch touchscreen mobile phones in this series, to make it more successful and to get more profits.

Body & Shape

The first glance tells that it resembles in shape with Nokia C5-04 except the color choices which are more in C5-04 than Asha 311. Nokia Asha 311 is available in Dark Grey, Rose Red, Blue, Brown and Sand White colors. Among these colors Rose Red is womanish in nature while Sand White looks sober and manly. The round corners of the phone are beautified with a silver strip around the phone at the bottom. Its body is a bit thinner (only 12.9 mm thick).

Features

Like Nokia Asha 302 and Nokia Asha 300, this touchscreen gadget has got 1 GHz of CPU which is fair enough to run it at pretty faster speed and affordable enough to match the price tag. 311 connects faster to the internet with Wi-Fi and 3G through the smart Nokia browser that uses less data. Camera is only 3.2 MP which is not bad with this price. This camera captures image in JPEG/Exif formats and the user can edit this image with Still Image Editor. If you like to shoot a video than this fixed focus camera gives output in QVGA format in 480 x 640 pixels. This video quality is not off high class, still this can be helpful in capturing important events.

Battery

The battery timing is good in this mobile phone, 7.2 hours on 2G network whereas 4.5 hours on 3G network whereas the standby time fluctuates between 711 hours to 781 hours depending upon the network (2G or 3G).
